ECAM LaSalle processes personal data (hereinafter referred to as “Personal Data”) concerning you in the context of the use of this website (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”).

As a data controller, we are respectful of the privacy and protect the personal data of the users of our Site.

This policy aims to inform you of the methods of collection, processing and use of Your Personal Data and of your rights in terms of protection of personal data with regard to the provisions applicable in this area, in particular Law 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to information technology, files and freedoms, known as the “Informatique et libertés” law in its latest version and with the RGPD (General Data Protection Regulation) in application since 25 May 2018.

Scope of this privacy policy

This Policy sets out the principles and guidelines for the protection of Your Personal Data, which includes Personal Data collected on – or through – the Site.

 

ECAM LaSalle collects Personal Data (e.g., online, including by e-mail, or offline); this policy applies regardless of how it is collected or processed.

 

The notion of Personal Data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. A person is “identifiable” if he or she can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more elements that are specific to him or her.

 

Non-Personal Data” is information that does not identify an individual.

Person responsible for the processing

In accordance with Article 28 of the RGPD, this service provider is bound by a strict confidentiality clause which prohibits any use of the data entrusted to it that is not provided for in the service contract and which requires it to implement technical and organisational measures that meet the requirements of security and personal data protection.

Security and confidentiality of personal data

We consider Your Personal Information to be confidential.

We endeavour to take reasonable technical measures to prevent loss or misuse of any data you have provided to us and to prevent disclosure to unauthorised third parties.

However, despite these measures, the Internet remains an open system and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat these measures or use Your Personal Data for illegitimate purposes. Accordingly, ECAM LaSalle shall not be liable for any fraudulent recovery of your data for any use whatsoever.

The Site may provide links to third party websites that may be of interest to you.
ECAM LaSalle has no control over the content of third party sites or over the practices of these third parties with respect to the protection of the Personal Data they may collect. Consequently, ECAM LaSalle declines all responsibility concerning the processing by these third parties of Your Personal Data. It is your responsibility to inform yourself about the personal data protection policies of these third parties.

Purposes of data collection

We process your data in whole or in part for the purposes of :

  • to enable you to browse our Sites and Applications and to adapt our content to your terminal to improve your browsing experience;
  • store the information you have entered in the forms (e.g. your user account);
  • store the information you have entered in the forms;
  • allow you to share our content on social networks;
  • allow you to purchase products or services;

The recipients of Your Personal Data are our own management teams and our technical service providers.

And any other Personal Data that may be relevant for the purposes set out below.

Cookies and other trackers

Cookies, or other similar tracers, are files used by a server to interact with the browser. Cookies are used to send status information when a user visits a site. Examples of status information include a session ID, language, expiration date, response domain, etc. Cookies allow status information to be retained for the duration of their validity when a browser accesses different pages of a website or when the browser subsequently returns to the website. Only the sender of a cookie can read or modify the information contained in it. There are different types of cookies:

  • session cookies that disappear as soon as you leave the browser or the site;
  • permanent cookies which remain on your terminal until their lifetime expires (maximum 12 months) or until you delete them using your browser’s functions.

ECAM LaSalle Newsletters

By authorising this type of newsletter, you authorise ECAM LaSalle to send you personalised e-mails. You can unsubscribe at any time from any of the emails you receive, however, the maximum retention period for your data is 2 years.

Contact form

The data are transmitted by the user of the site who wishes to send a remark or a report. The information collected from this form is transmitted to the service in charge of managing the remarks on the ECAM LaSalle site. The maximum period of conservation of your data is 2 years.

Your rights

In accordance with the provisions of the Regulations applicable to the protection of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify and delete data concerning you and the right to obtain a copy of the personal data we hold in a structured electronic format (portability).

You also have the right to object on legitimate grounds to your personal data being processed, and the right to object to your data being used for canvassing purposes, in particular for commercial purposes.

You can exercise your rights by sending us your requests by post to the following address ECAM LaSalle – 40 montée Saint Barthélémy 69005 Lyon or directly via our contact form.

We undertake to respond to these requests within one week. This period may be extended by two months, depending on the complexity and number of requests received.

In the event of a dispute over the exercise of your rights, you may lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés.

Data retention

We only keep Your Personal Data for a period of time that is necessary and proportionate to the purpose for which it was collected, i.e. for a maximum of 3 years from the last exchange you had with us and carried out at your initiative (in particular, logging into your account).

After the above-mentioned periods, your data will be anonymised for statistical purposes or deleted altogether.

Updating of this privacy policy

This privacy policy may be modified or amended at any time.
